Herta follows allied attacks with an Ice sweep when an enemy is pushed to half HP or lower.
Multi-wave follow-up damage.
Soften fresh waves with Skill or Ultimate and let the team create new half-HP triggers.
Her Skill and Ultimate hit every enemy, giving the team ways to start the threshold chain.
A single durable target offers fewer fresh triggers than repeated waves. This is the four-star Herta, not The Herta.
Use Technique before combat when available. Skill softens the whole wave; time Ultimate to push healthy enemies through the Talent threshold. After the fresh triggers are spent, use Basics when the team needs Skill Points.
The Talent condition is reaching 50% HP or lower, not strictly below 50%.
E2's CRIT Rate stacks accumulate as her Talent triggers; E6's ATK buff lasts only one turn after Ultimate.
Do not expect repeatedly hitting the same already-low enemy to create an unlimited follow-up loop.
Do not delay every Ultimate waiting for Freeze; Icing is a conditional bonus.
Skill or Ultimate prepares a follow-up bonus, alongside CRIT DMG and Skill/Ultimate damage.
ATK is unconditional; its CRIT DMG bonus requires Herta to defeat an enemy and lasts 3 turns.
Rewards hitting groups. Its SPD effect requires at least three targets hit and lasts one turn.
Repeated follow-up hits build ATK within the attack; stacks reset with the next follow-up.
For stronger Skill and Ultimate damage. Its post-Ultimate bonus applies to the next Skill, not the Talent.
For repeated enemy defeats across waves; its CRIT DMG stacks need time to build.
Requires 50% in-combat CRIT Rate for the Ultimate and follow-up damage bonus.
Account for E2's stacking CRIT Rate.
Use when CRIT Rate is already sufficient after the expected E2 ramp.
For a follow-up-focused wave-clearing role.
When extra Skills improve wave setup.
Default offensive sphere.
Alternative with better substats or strong damage buffs.
Supports Skill, Ultimate and Talent damage.
Balance CRIT around the expected E2 stacks, then add ATK. SPD is a turn-plan choice for additional Skills; it does not create new HP-threshold triggers by itself.
E0 already provides the HP-threshold follow-up. E2, E4 and E6 improve the same role; none makes a single-target fight behave like a fresh wave.
Herta does not need a limited cone to trigger her Talent. Choose an owned Erudition option whose kill or target-count conditions the encounter supports.
Each Talent trigger adds 3% CRIT Rate, up to 15%. Count the ramp-up when balancing CRIT.
Increases damage when her Talent triggers by 10%, strengthening the follow-up role.
Ultimate grants 25% ATK for one turn. Align subsequent attacks with that short window when possible.
Himeko can push enemies through Herta's HP threshold; Herta can help break Ice-weak targets for Himeko. Enemy weaknesses and fresh waves limit the chain.
Robin's team ATK and Action Advance help set up fresh thresholds. Herta's attacks also restore Robin's Energy.
Herta supplies the second Erudition character and multi-target attacks for The Herta's traces. Do not count every spin of one attack as a separate Energy trigger.

Technique
After using her Technique, Herta's ATK increases by 40% for 3 turn(s) at the beginning of the next battle.
When Skill is used, the DMG Boost effect on target enemies increases by an extra 25%.
Increases the chance to resist Crowd Control debuffs by 35%.
When Ultimate is used, deals 20% more DMG to Frozen enemies.
When using Basic ATK, if the designated enemy's HP percentage is at 50% or less, additionally deals Ice Additional DMG equal to 40% of Herta's ATK.
Every time Talent is triggered, this character's CRIT Rate increases by 3%. This effect can stack up to 5 time(s).
