Overview

Welt combines Imaginary damage with Weightless, a team damage window that lowers enemy DEF and delays enemies as allies attack. He can support another carry or invest in his own damage, but those roles need different Energy and Skill Point plans.

Role

Nihility amplifier, control support and optional damage dealer.

Playstyle

Establish Weightless with Ultimate, maintain Slow and let repeated allied attacks build amplification before refreshing the window.

Why It Works

Weightless reduces DEF and SPD; attacks against it delay enemies and build Retribution’s damage bonus. Welt’s five-hit Skill and Additional DMG contribute personal damage.

Watch For

Slow and Imprisonment have application chances. Action delay does not replace healing or shields in every encounter, and it can reduce enemy-turn triggers used by teammates.

Playstyle

Combat Flow

Use Ultimate to establish Weightless before the team’s attack window. Skill to apply Slow and generate Energy when points are available; Basic when debuffs are secure and the team needs SP. Let allies attack Weightless targets to build damage bonuses, and refresh Ultimate before the window expires.

Key Notes

  • Weightless lasts two turns and delays a target by 4% when attacked, up to eight triggers per target per turn. Its DEF and SPD reductions are separate from Ultimate’s Imprisonment.

  • Retribution gains 10% damage per qualifying allied attack, up to ten stacks for two turns, and restores 30 opening Energy.

  • Punishment converts Effect Hit Rate above 40% into ATK, capped at 80% ATK. That conversion reaches its cap at 80% EHR; this is not a universal debuff-guarantee threshold.

  • At level 10, Ultimate?s Imprisonment delays actions by 12%. Repeated Weightless delays provide a separate effect.

  • Do not spend every Skill Point on Welt when another carry needs them.

  • Avoid treating E6’s conditional Skill/Ultimate CRIT as a permanent bonus to every damage instance.

Build & Investment

Light Cones

Primary

Before the Tutorial Mission Starts

Adds Effect Hit Rate and restores Energy when Welt attacks DEF-reduced enemies. Weightless supplies DEF reduction; maintain that state instead of assuming every attack always earns the refund.

Alternative

Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat

Adds a one-turn DEF debuff to enemies not already Ensnared. Its base chance improves with Superimposition; account for hit reliability and the non-refresh condition.

Situational

Lies Dance on the Breeze

Adds SPD and attempts an area DEF debuff after attacks. At 170 SPD it can apply a second DEF debuff; both have application chances, so the threshold is not a guarantee of landing them.

Situational

In the Name of the World

Personal-damage option against debuffed targets. Its Skill-only Effect Hit Rate and ATK bonuses do not provide permanent debuff reliability for other abilities.

Relics

Primary

Eagle of Twilight Line

For a support turn plan: four pieces advance Welt by 25% after Ultimate. Its two-piece Wind bonus does not improve Imaginary damage.

Alternative

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters

For personal damage against debuffed targets. Its CRIT benefits depend on debuff count and become stronger after Welt inflicts a debuff; check those conditions in the actual rotation.

Planars

Primary

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

Adds Energy Regeneration Rate. Place the intended ATK carry first and Welt elsewhere to grant that ally the ATK buff.

Alternative

Sprightly Vonwacq

Adds Energy Regeneration Rate and a battle-opening 40% Action Advance at 120 SPD. It is an opener tool, not a repeated advance every turn.

Situational

Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise

For a damage-oriented build: adds Effect Hit Rate and converts some EHR into ATK, subject to the set’s own cap. Its conversion is separate from Punishment.

Main Stats

Body

  • Effect Hit Rate
  • AlternativeCRIT Rate

Support role or unmet debuff reliability.

Personal damage once the build lands its required debuffs reliably.

Feet

  • SPD
  • AlternativeATK%

For the chosen setup and Ultimate-refresh plan.

Personal-damage build whose turns are supplied by an action support.

Sphere

  • Imaginary DMG Boost
  • AlternativeHP%

Personal-damage build.

Support build needing more durability.

Rope

  • Energy Regeneration Rate
  • AlternativeATK%

Support build prioritizing Weightless refreshes.

Personal damage when Energy needs are already covered.

Recommended Substats

  1. SPD
  2. Effect Hit Rate
  3. CRIT Rate
  4. CRIT DMG
  5. ATK%

Meet the team’s turn plan and debuff reliability first, then balance CRIT and ATK for personal damage. Support builds can prioritize durability afterward; 80% EHR is Punishment’s conversion cap, not a universal landing guarantee.

Eidolon Investment

E0 already supplies Weightless, DEF reduction and attack-driven amplification. E2 improves Energy recovery and E4 adds a further debuff while Weightless is active. E6 benefits specified attacks against Slowed targets; it is not required for the support role.

In the Name of the World is a personal-damage choice. A support build may value a debuffing or Energy cone instead. Its temporary Skill Effect Hit Rate bonus can contribute to Punishment during that attack, but does not solve reliability for every ability.

E1

Skill or Ultimate hits against Weightless targets add Imaginary Additional DMG equal to 40% of the Ultimate multiplier, once per target per attack.

E2

Talent triggers restore 3 Energy. Slow uptime and actual Talent triggers determine the refund; it does not guarantee one universal Ultimate rotation.

E4

Weightless enemies lose 30% All-Type RES. The amplification depends on maintaining Weightless, rather than permanently applying to every enemy.

E6

Skill or Ultimate damage against Slowed targets gains 30% CRIT Rate and 60% CRIT DMG. Keep this conditional bonus separate from stat-sheet CRIT and other damage types.

Teams

Acheron

Acheron benefits from a Nihility teammate with debuffs and amplification. Weightless supports her damage, but merely attacking a debuffed enemy does not create Slashed Dream; an actual debuff application is required. Keep the remaining Nihility requirement and sustain slot covered.

Ashveil

Ashveil attacks frequently and adds his own DEF reduction while Bait remains active. Those attacks can build Retribution and trigger Weightless delays. This pairing still needs an SP budget for both units and a sustain.

Sunday

For Welt as the main damage dealer, Sunday advances him and supplies CRIT buffs and Energy. Tune turn order and point spending together; the extra turns only help if Welt can fund the intended Skills.

Mortenax Blade

Mortenax Blade adds DEF reduction, vulnerability and an Ultimate bonus with another Nihility present. His repeated attacks can work through Weightless, but HP consumption calls for a healing plan. This is an amplification option, not permission to remove sustain.
