Hysilens is a premium DoT DPS / amplifier who floods enemies with multiple DoTs while adding Vulnerability, DEF reduction, and powerful detonations. She is especially strong with Kafka, who can repeatedly trigger the DoTs Hysilens creates.
DoT DPS / Debuffer
Use Skill to maintain Vulnerability, keep her Ultimate Zone active, then let frequent ally attacks continuously stack DoTs. Ultimate whenever possible to detonate every active DoT and refresh her strongest damage window.
Every ally attack can apply another DoT, while her Zone converts those DoTs into additional Physical DoT hits. Her Ultimate then detonates all existing DoTs at 150% of their original damage, creating huge burst potential.
Hysilens needs time to ramp her DoTs, and bosses with phase changes can force you to rebuild them. She also strongly wants 120% Effect Hit Rate to maximize her A6 damage bonus.
Technique → Skill → stack DoTs → Ultimate Zone → allies attack/detonate DoTs → Hysilens extra DoT hits → refresh Skill/Zone → repeat.
Aim for 120% Effect Hit Rate, then either 134 or 160 SPD, with roughly 3000–3500+ ATK.
Within the Zone, enemy DoT damage triggers extra Physical DoT up to eight times at the start of a turn or after one ally attack. These extra hits cannot recursively trigger themselves.
Ultimate immediately detonates existing DoTs at 150% damage.
Adds EHR and a chance-based Enthrallment debuff. Hysilens' debuffs increase the target's DoT taken, and allies attacking it gain SPD.
Gacha alternative if owned: adds EHR and DoT damage, with larger bonuses at higher superimposition.
Its ATK bonus supports DoT scaling; each DoT on the enemy grants 6% DEF ignore, up to three effects.
Default until all important DoTs land reliably.
Damage alternative after Effect Hit Rate is secured.
Preferred for early and frequent DoT application.
Slower damage option in speed-supported teams.
Default offensive sphere.
Alternative with stronger substats.
Default DoT damage rope.
Alternative for tighter Ultimate uptime.
Build Effect Hit Rate toward 120% to cap The Fiddle of Pearls, alongside the chosen SPD target, then add ATK for DoT scaling. The 120% trace target is not a guarantee that every lower-base-chance Light Cone debuff lands.
E0 already supplies the Zone and multiple DoTs. E1 adds more coexisting DoT instances and strengthens team DoT; E2 shares her trace's damage bonus. Maintain Zone uptime and reliable application before adding copies.
Why Does the Ocean Sing supplies Effect Hit Rate and a chance-based Enthrallment debuff. Her debuffs then increase the target's received DoT, and allies attacking that target gain SPD; the payoff depends on keeping that target afflicted.
Team DoT deals 116% of its original damage, and Talent applications have a base chance to add another coexisting DoT instance.
While the Zone is active, The Fiddle of Pearls' damage bonus also applies to all allies.
Kafka detonates Hysilens' stacked DoTs while Black Swan adds Arcana and broad debuffs.
Basic ATK
Deals Physical DMG equal to 100% of Hysilens's ATK to one designated enemy.
Skill
Has a 100% base chance to increase the DMG taken by all enemies by 20%, lasting for 3 turn(s). At the same time, deals Physical DMG equal to 140% of Hysilens's ATK to all enemies.
Ultimate
Hysilens deploys a Zone that reduces enemy targets' ATK by 15.0% and DEF by 25.0%, and deals Physical DMG equal to 200% of Hysilens's ATK to all enemies.
For every 1 instance of DoT taken by an enemy target within the Zone, Hysilens deals Physical DoT equal to 80.0% of her ATK to them. This damage triggers at the start of each turn or after one attack by an ally target, up to 8 time(s). And it cannot repeatedly trigger this effect.
The Zone lasts for 3 turn(s) and this duration decreases by 1 at the start of this unit's every turn. When Hysilens gets knocked down, the Zone will also be dispelled.
Talent
When an ally target attacks, there is a 100% base chance for Hysilens to inflict the hit enemy target with one of the following states: Wind Shear, Bleed, Burn, or Shock. Priority is given to inflicting a different state.
While in the Wind Shear/Burn/Shock state, at the start of each turn, the enemy target takes Wind/Fire/Lightning DoT equal to 25.0% of Hysilens's ATK for 2 turn(s).
While in the Bleed state, at the start of each turn, the enemy target takes Physical DoT equal to 20.0% of their Max HP, up to 25.0% of Hysilens's ATK, lasting for 2 turn(s).
Technique
After using Technique, creates a Special Dimension that lasts for 20 seconds and automatically moves forward. Enemies within the Special Dimension enter the "Soulstruck" state. "Soulstruck" enemies will not attack ally targets and will follow the dimension while it persists.
After entering combat with "Soulstruck" enemies, there is a 100% base chance to inflict each enemy target with 2 of the following states: Wind Shear/Bleed/Burn/Shock, all of which are equivalent to those provided by Hysilens's Talent effect. Only 1 Dimension Effect created by allies can exist at the same time.
At the start of combat, Hysilens deploys a Zone, equivalent to that provided by her Ultimate, lasting for 3 turn(s). Whenever Hysilens deploys a Zone, she recovers 1 Skill Point(s).
When Hysilens uses Ultimate, if the enemy target is currently afflicted with DoT(s), all DoTs currently applied on the target will immediately produce DMG equal to 150% of their original DMG.
For every 10% of Hysilens's Effect Hit Rate that exceeds 60%, increases her DMG dealt by 15%, up to a max increase of 90%.
While Hysilens is on the field, the DoT dealt by ally targets is equal to 116% of their original value. When Hysilens inflicts Wind Shear/Bleed/Burn/Shock on enemies via her Talent, there is a 100% base chance to additionally inflict the target with 1 instance of Wind Shear/Bleed/Burn/Shock state that is equivalent to those from the original Talent effect and can coexist with such pre-existing states.
While the Zone is active, the DMG Boost effect from Trace "The Fiddle of Pearls" applies to all allies.
Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
While the Zone is active, reduces All-Type RES of all enemies by 20%.
Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
While the Zone is active, at the start of each turn or after one attack by an ally target, increases the maximum trigger count for Hysilens's Physical DoT effect to 12, and increases the multiplier of the DMG dealt by 20%.
