Team Roles & Rotations

Give each Agent a job and connect support, damage and resource recovery into a practical rotation.

Describe the jobs before naming a team

Start with the jobs your squad needs: damage, Daze, support effects and enough resources to keep the sequence going. Specialty is a useful guide, but each Agent’s actions determine how much field time they need.

Anby rewards follow-ups after her third Basic Attack with extra Daze. Nicole’s EX Special creates an Energy Field and can lead into a Quick Assist on hit. These are useful handoffs to consider when deciding who acts next.

Order actions around effects that must be present

Apply a support effect before the attack meant to benefit from it. Nicole’s DEF debuff comes from specific hits, and her Additional Ability’s Ether damage benefit also requires that debuff and the right squad.

Before a handoff, check Energy, assist availability and the enemy’s state. You may need to adjust the sequence when an effect expires, a follow-up is unavailable or the enemy moves away.

Use team examples as a starting point

Team Comp Finder shows which teammates and compositions players use, while Team Rankings compares results in each mode. Popularity can suggest a squad to explore, but does not guarantee it fits your upgrades or the encounter.

Use those examples alongside the Agents’ kits: identify who sets up an effect, who benefits and when to switch. Then adapt the sequence to the resources and conditions you have in the fight.
