Daze builds toward a Stun window
Filling an ordinary enemy’s Daze gauge to 100 triggers Stun and creates a damage window. Building Daze gets you to that window; dealing damage during it is the payoff. Skills list these contributions separately.
Chain Attacks have their own trigger conditions during Stun. Follow the combat prompt and the triggering action to continue the sequence rather than assuming every action is available as soon as the gauge fills.
Check which action receives the Daze bonus
Anby’s Core Passive boosts Daze on specific follow-ups after her third Basic Attack. Shockstar Disco’s four-piece bonus instead applies to Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks and Dodge Counters against the main target.
Match a Daze bonus to the moves you actually use. Your Impact stat, the move’s Daze multiplier and any conditional bonus all help explain its contribution, but a bonus to one attack does not apply to the whole kit.

Separate buildup from the Stun damage multiplier
Qingyi’s Subjugation stacks change the Stun damage multiplier. This improves the damage window itself, rather than simply increasing Daze buildup.
Plan both halves of the sequence: the attacks that reach Stun, then the buffs and damage you want ready for the window. The useful timing depends on your squad’s actions and available resources.
