Choose your Core enhancement level
A Core Passive is a central part of an Agent’s kit. Core enhancements can improve its values and grant stats, so select the enhancement level you use when checking its effect.
Nicole reduces enemy DEF when her enhanced bullets or Energy Field hit. The debuff lasts for a limited time, making both the hit and the timing important before your next Agent attacks.

Check the exact Additional Ability condition
Each Additional Ability has its own squad requirement. Some ask for a matching Attribute or Faction; others accept particular Specialties. Check the condition for the Agent and Core state you use.
Nicole’s base condition asks for another squad member of the same Attribute or Faction. Qingyi’s accepts an Attack Agent or someone from her Faction instead, so a partner who unlocks one ability may not unlock the other.

Activation does not mean constant uptime
Meeting the squad requirement unlocks an Additional Ability, but its combat effect may need another trigger. Nicole’s Ether damage benefit applies against enemies affected by her Core debuff and has its own duration.
Build the sequence around applying those effects before the attacks that benefit. If an Agent offers an alternative Core state, check both its team requirement and its effect before carrying over the same rotation.
