Choose the result before the recipe
Normal fusion combines two Personas. Start with the role you need, such as an uncovered element, healing or a safer affinity, then inspect the result’s learnset and requirements. Register an improved ingredient in the Compendium before consuming it if you want to summon that build again.
The normal result is based on Arcana and base-level rules, not simply the ingredient with the larger displayed level. Treasure Demon fusion is a separate case where the other ingredient’s current level matters. Set the calculator’s options to match the game you are playing.
Check the constraints in the preview
A computed recipe is not proof that your save can execute it. Joker’s level, money, story unlocks and Confidant requirements may still block the result. Strength’s Special Treatment allows above-level fusion for a fee once unlocked; it does not make every recipe free.
DLC Personas change the available result pool. Use Royal data and match the installed DLC settings before following a pair recipe. The calculator exposes this distinction so a recipe is reproducible rather than assuming every release has the same installed roster.
Keep special recipes and alarms separate
Special fusions use fixed ingredient recipes and their own unlock conditions. Use the Special Fusions view rather than searching endlessly for a normal pair that creates the same Persona.
Fusion Alarms can improve results but also raise the risk of accidents. When your immediate goal is an exact Persona-and-skill request, verify the resulting Persona after the operation. A stronger-looking accidental result does not satisfy a task asking for a different named Persona.
