Separate fixed dates from flexible plans
Royal’s calendar combines mandatory story days with free daytime and evening slots. A recurring Confidant schedule describes a pattern, not a promise: exams, story events, weather and progression gates can override it. Check the current map and messages before committing to an activity.
A Palace deadline and a relationship cutoff are different constraints. Keep both visible in your plan. Completing a Palace does not automatically complete a Confidant requirement, and a free evening cannot substitute for a daytime meeting.
Leave room around Palace deadlines
Securing a route to the Treasure is not the same as finishing a Palace. Calling-card and confrontation steps still follow, and some Palaces force a return to the real world before the route can continue. Follow the objective shown in the game rather than treating every Palace as a one-visit dungeon.
Recommended approach: make an early exploration attempt, identify any forced return or resource problem, then schedule the remaining steps with spare days. This is a flexible safety margin, not a universal optimal calendar.
Make the plan recoverable
Keep separate manual saves before committing several days to a major objective. If a rank is blocked by a Social Stat or a request, address that gate rather than repeatedly selecting a hangout that cannot advance.
Prepare short lists of what you need from the next outing: a meeting, a book, supplies or identified Mementos targets. Batch compatible errands, but do not postpone a dated opportunity merely to make the itinerary look tidy. The third-semester walkthrough isolates the Royal access requirement from optional relationship goals.
