Find the person who gives the quest
Quests begin with specific people in Inaba or at school. The quest reference lists the earliest availability and the person to speak with. A date alone does not mean a quest has already been accepted in your save.
Collect the requested item after accepting
Many requests ask for a drop from a particular enemy or an item in a dungeon. Check the objective before exploring, then return to the quest giver when the condition is complete. Some requests involve conversations on more than one day instead of a single delivery.
Follow the ema request sequence
The Fox’s requests advance the Hermit Social Link. Read the current ema and complete its condition before reporting back at the shrine. Receiving a request and spending time to raise the link are different steps.
