Fusion Fundamentals

Understand normal, triangle and fixed special fusion without mixing Golden with another edition.

Start with Arcana and base levels

For a normal two-Persona fusion, Golden’s Arcana chart determines the result’s Arcana. The ingredients’ base levels then determine the result within that Arcana. Fusing two Personas of the same Arcana uses its separate downward level rule.

The simulator and calculator support normal two-Persona recipes and fixed special recipes. Their results use Golden’s own compendium and chart, with Social Link and story unlocks shown alongside the result.

Keep triangle fusion separate

Triangle fusion combines three Personas and uses a different Arcana chart and level rule. The relative current levels of the three ingredients can affect the result. It is not equivalent to performing two normal fusions in sequence. Free triangle recipes are not calculated by these two-Persona tools.

Check fixed recipes and unlocks

Special fusions require specific ingredients. Some results also require a maxed Social Link or story progress. Completing a Social Link unlocks the ability to fuse its ultimate Persona, but does not remove the recipe or level requirements.

Register before fusing

Register a developed Persona if you want to summon that version later. Summoning costs money, and fusion consumes the selected ingredients. Fusion accidents can produce a different result from the ordinary prediction.
