Make each extra turn count
Hitting a weakness or landing a critical hit can knock an enemy down and give the attacker a 1 More. Look at the enemies still standing before choosing the next action. Knocking down a fresh target can bring the whole group within reach of an All-Out Attack.
Golden does not have Royal’s Baton Pass. The character who earns the extra action keeps it, so your party’s skill coverage and turn order matter.
Build a balanced party
The protagonist can change Personas, while teammates use their own Personas and learned skills. Carry several damage types alongside healing and support. A strong attack is only useful if its target does not nullify, repel or drain it.
Physical skills consume HP and magic generally consumes SP. Leave enough health to survive the enemy’s next turn, and save recovery items for situations where ordinary healing is unavailable.
Choose commands deliberately
Direct Commands lets you choose a teammate’s action. Guard when you expect a dangerous attack or need to protect a weakness. Attack and defense buffs, enemy debuffs and recovery can be more useful than another damage skill during a long boss fight.
