Overview

Quantum Destruction hybrid who converts Toughness damage into Karma follow-ups and scales both Break and CRIT damage.

Role

Break-CRIT hybrid main DPS.

Playstyle

Attack enemies with available Toughness, align Ultimate with Break windows, and let the team build Karma for follow-up attacks.

Why It Works

Allied Toughness damage builds Karma; Xueyi's Ultimate ignores weakness type, letting her force Break progress.

Watch For

Weakness-locked or already-broken targets can reduce Karma generation, and splitting stats without a build plan leaves both damage modes weak.

Playstyle

Combat Flow

Use Skill where it can reduce Quantum Toughness on several targets. Use Ultimate against an enemy with Toughness remaining to exploit its weakness bypass and build Karma. Let allied Toughness-reducing attacks complete Karma, then use the resulting follow-up to finish the damage sequence.

Key Notes

Xueyi gains Karma according to her own Toughness reduction; a teammate's qualifying attack adds one stack.
Her follow-up deals three hits to random enemies and does not generate Karma itself.
Clairvoyant Loom converts Break Effect to damage bonus, capped at 240%; this cap is not a universal build target.
Already-broken or Toughness-locked enemies restrict ordinary Karma generation.
Weakness bypass does not mean every attack ignores weakness; Ultimate has it at E0, while follow-up needs E2.

Eidolon Investment

E0 provides Karma and a weakness-ignoring Ultimate. E2 extends weakness bypass to follow-ups; E6 lowers the trigger threshold, but neither removes the need for appropriate targets.

Indelible Promise supports Break and temporary CRIT, while On the Fall of an Aeon supplies ATK and a conditional damage bonus.

Increases Talent follow-up damage by 40%.

Follow-ups reduce Toughness regardless of weakness type and restore 5% of Xueyi's Max HP. Their breaks apply Quantum Break.

Ultimate grants 40% Break Effect for two turns.

Reduces the Karma threshold from eight stacks to six, allowing more frequent follow-ups when Toughness reduction is available.

Recommended Teammates

Fugue

Fugue provides Break Effect and Cloudflame Luster for another break opportunity. Foxian Prayer can help Xueyi reduce mismatched Toughness, subject to its stated efficiency.

Ruan Mei

Ruan Mei's Weakness Break Efficiency increases Toughness reduction and supports Karma generation. Her recovery delay extends the broken window but can delay the next ordinary Toughness cycle.

Trailblazer (Harmony)

Harmony Trailblazer enables Super Break against already-broken enemies and supplies Break Effect. Super Break adds damage during that window but does not itself restore enemy Toughness for Karma.

In this attack, the more Toughness is reduced, the higher the DMG will be dealt, up to a max of 60.0% increase.

When Xueyi reduces enemy Toughness with attacks, "Karma" will be stacked. The more Toughness is reduced, the more stacks of "Karma" are added, up to 8 stacks.

When Xueyi's teammates reduce enemy Toughness with attacks, Xueyi gains 1 stack(s) of "Karma."

When "Karma" reaches the max number of stacks, consumes all current "Karma" stacks and immediately launches Follow-Up ATK against an enemy target, dealing DMG for 3 times, with each time dealing Quantum DMG equal to 90% of Xueyi's ATK to a single random enemy. This Follow-Up ATK will not add "Karma" stacks.

If the enemy target's Toughness is equal to or higher than 50% of their Max Toughness, deals 10% more DMG when using Ultimate.

Perspicacious Mainframe

Xueyi will keep a tally of the number of Karma stacks that exceed the max stack limit, up to 6 stacks in the tally. After Xueyi's Talent is triggered, she will gain a corresponding number of tallied Karma stacks.
