Overview

Moze marks Prey, enters Departed, and follows up as allies repeatedly attack that enemy.

Role

Lightning secondary damage dealer for focused follow-up teams.

Playstyle

Mark a durable target, spend his nine Charge through allied attacks, then reapply Prey when he returns.

Why It Works

Skill grants nine Charge. Allied attacks on Prey consume it, and each three points consumed trigger a Talent follow-up.

Watch For

Early target deaths shorten the sequence. While Departed, his attack output depends on allies hitting Prey.

Playstyle

Combat Flow

Use Skill on the enemy the team will focus. Let allies attack Prey to trigger additional damage and consume Charge. Use Ultimate for its attack and extra follow-up, then set up a new Prey cycle after the old mark ends.

Key Notes

  • Talent follow-ups themselves do not consume Charge.

  • Vengewise makes Ultimate damage count as a follow-up and increases follow-up damage received by Prey.

  • Nightfeather restores one Skill Point after a Talent follow-up, with its own one-turn retrigger limit.

  • Allied attacks spend Charge; they do not refill it.

  • Do not assume nine Charge means nine follow-ups, or that every follow-up refunds another Skill Point.

Build & Investment

Light Cones

Primary

Worrisome, Blissful

Adds CRIT Rate and follow-up damage. Follow-ups build Tame stacks, improving allied CRIT DMG against Prey.

Alternative

Cruising in the Stellar Sea

Supplies CRIT Rate, with an extra bonus against half-HP targets. The ATK buff requires a kill by Moze.

Alternative

Swordplay

Hits on the same target build damage stacks. It suits a stable Prey target; changing targets removes the stacks.

Relics

Primary

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters

Use with three active debuffs for its larger CRIT DMG bonus. Moze's debuff application enables its temporary doubling; check the new target's effects after retargeting.

Alternative

The Ashblazing Grand Duke

Follow-up damage and hit-based ATK support his repeated attacks. Existing ATK stacks reset at the start of his next follow-up.

Planars

Alternative

Inert Salsotto

Reach 50% in-combat CRIT Rate for its follow-up and Ultimate damage bonus.

Main Stats

Recommended Substats

  1. CRIT Rate
  2. CRIT DMG
  3. ATK%
  4. SPD

Balance CRIT and ATK after ensuring Moze can establish Prey before the key allied attacks. Add SPD only where the actual opening or return order needs it.

Eidolon Investment

E0 already establishes Prey and the Departed follow-up cycle. E2 adds team CRIT DMG, while later ranks improve Moze's own damage; none removes the target-focus requirement.

Moze can use the listed Hunt cones according to availability and team need. Worrisome, Blissful adds a team-facing enemy effect, while Cruising and Swordplay have conditional personal bonuses.

E1

Starts battle with 20 Energy and gains two Energy when his Talent's additional damage triggers.

E2

All allies gain 40% CRIT DMG when damaging Prey, improving the focused team's damage.

E4

Using Ultimate increases Moze's damage by 30% for two turns.

E6

Increases the Talent follow-up's damage multiplier by 25%.

Teams

Feixiao

Feixiao attacks frequently to consume Moze's Charge, and her follow-ups benefit from Vengewise on Prey. Focus both characters on the marked enemy.

Dr. Ratio

Ratio supplies repeated attacks against Prey. Moze helps his debuff plan, but check three active debuffs; Ratio's own Inference can be resisted.

Aventurine

Aventurine provides shields and follow-ups that can hit Prey. His random-hit follow-up may split across enemies, so it does not guarantee focused attacks in crowded waves.
