Overview

Wind Hunt damage dealer who strengthens his Ultimate against Slowed enemies and gains Wind RES PEN after an ally targets him.

Role

Single-target damage dealer with conditional burst.

Playstyle

Land Slow, activate his Talent with an allied ability when its cooldown is ready, then use the empowered attack in a useful buff window.

Why It Works

Skill CRIT hits have a base chance to Slow, and Ultimate gains extra damage against a Slowed target.

Watch For

A Skill CRIT does not guarantee Slow against resistance. His next attack consumes the Talent benefit, so its timing matters.

Playstyle

Combat Flow

Use Skill to establish Slow on the priority enemy. When his Talent is available, target Dan Heng with a useful ally buff or heal before the attack you want to empower. Use Ultimate while Slow and relevant support buffs are active.

Key Notes

  • Talent boosts the next attack and has a two-turn cooldown at E0.

  • Faster Than Light has a fixed chance to grant SPD after an attack, so its uptime is not guaranteed.

  • Basic can save Skill Points, but Skill is the usual source of his own Slow.

  • Do not spend the Talent on an unintended Basic just before the planned Ultimate.

  • A random SPD proc can change a narrowly tuned support order.

Build & Investment

Light Cones

Primary

Cruising in the Stellar Sea

Adds CRIT Rate, with extra CRIT against enemies at half HP or lower and temporary ATK after a defeat.

Alternative

Swordplay

Builds damage while repeatedly hitting one target; changing targets removes its stacks.

Situational

In the Night

Adds CRIT Rate and scales Basic, Skill and Ultimate bonuses with SPD above 100, up to six stacks. Count actual buff uptime.

Relics

Situational

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters

Needs active enemy debuffs for its damage and CRIT benefits. Inflicting Slow can trigger the temporary doubling of four-piece CRIT bonuses.

Planars

Primary

Rutilant Arena

At 70% CRIT Rate, increases Basic and Skill damage. Its damage bonus does not apply to Ultimate.

Alternative

Firmament Frontline: Glamoth

Grants ATK and damage at 135 or 160 SPD. Dan Heng's chance-based SPD trace should not be treated as permanently active.

Main Stats

Body

  • CRIT Rate
  • AlternativeCRIT DMG

Supports damage and Skill's CRIT trigger.

When CRIT Rate is sufficient.

Feet

  • SPD
  • AlternativeATK%

For the chosen support rotation.

With a planned action-advance setup.

Sphere

  • Wind DMG Boost
  • AlternativeATK%

For Wind attacks.

Alternative based on buffs and substats.

Rope

  • ATK%

Scales direct damage.

Recommended Substats

  1. SPD
  2. CRIT Rate
  3. CRIT DMG
  4. ATK%

Meet the intended action order, then balance CRIT and ATK. Include E1's target-HP condition and temporary SPD bonuses when judging combat stats.

Eidolon Investment

E0 contains the Slow and empowered-Ultimate loop. E2 improves Talent access and E4 rewards Ultimate kills; neither guarantees the required debuffs or support timing.

Cruising supplies practical CRIT, Swordplay rewards one-target focus, and In the Night needs a suitable SPD setup.

E1

Grants 12% CRIT Rate against targets at 50% HP or higher; the bonus disappears below that threshold.

E2

Shortens the Talent cooldown by one turn, enabling more frequent Wind RES PEN if allies can target him.

E4

Defeating an enemy with Ultimate immediately grants Dan Heng another action.

E6

Skill's Slow reduces SPD by an additional 8 percentage points.

Teams

Sunday

Sunday's Skill targets and advances Dan Heng, activating his Talent when available; Ultimate supplies Energy and CRIT DMG. Keep Skill Points for the extra damage actions.

Bronya

Bronya's Skill targets Dan Heng and advances him with a damage buff. Tune their actions around his SPD proc and reserve Skill Points for both Skills.
