Mementos & Requests

Prepare targets, explore the available paths and use Jose’s Royal systems without confusing them with Palace deadlines.

Prepare the targets before entering

Mementos requests can begin with a message, a Confidant event or an investigation. Receiving a request is not always enough to make the target ready: some need an identity or another real-world step first. Review and discuss the available requests at the hideout before entering.

A request tied to a Confidant can block later ranks until it is resolved. The native request list keeps the recorded location, prerequisites and related relationship together. Read messages as they arrive instead of leaving the whole backlog until your next trip.

Explore the paths your story has opened

Mementos is divided into paths and floors, with further progression tied to the story. An unfinished barrier is not necessarily a puzzle you can solve on the current visit. Use the available rest and travel points to move between the areas you have reached.

Recommended approach: combine several ready targets in one outing when the calendar permits it. Do not delay a relationship gate indefinitely just to create a larger batch. A request’s own completion rule takes priority over a generic plan to defeat everything immediately.

Keep Jose’s two resources separate

Royal adds flowers and stamps. Flowers buy items from Jose and do not carry out of the current Mementos trip. Stamps support changes to Mementos rewards and remain part of your progression. Check which resource a purchase or upgrade uses before spending.

Jose can also improve an accessory made from a completed Palace Will Seed set after that Palace is finished. That connects Palace exploration to later Mementos visits without turning Mementos into another Palace deadline. Prepare your recovery supplies before chasing optional rewards deeper into an outing.
