Charge through each character’s role
Each party member has a bonus charging condition. Healing helps Yukari, critical hits help Junpei, and starting a turn with a buff helps Akihiko. The reference preserves the full condition for every party member.
Do not assume that the same action accelerates every gauge. Plan the party’s ordinary actions around the fight, then use the appropriate bonus condition when it fits.
Unlock the protagonist’s techniques
The protagonist’s techniques are tied to specific Persona combinations. Consult the listed pair and the corresponding Persona pages for fusion requirements. Those pair identities are Reload-specific, even when an individual Persona also appears in another game.
Read the technique before using it
Theurgy includes attacks, recovery and support effects. Check the exact effect and target in the reference. A full gauge is an opportunity to solve the current problem, not a reason to assume every technique should be used immediately.
