Separate affinity from a rank increase
Dialogue choices can add affinity toward the next meeting. The listed base points are not a promise that a particular answer always produces an immediate rank-up. Required affinity, previous choices and available bonuses all matter.
The rank guides keep separate conversation branches and conditions together. Use the branch that matches the relationship in your save.
Bring a matching Persona
Carrying a Persona of the matching Arcana gives a 1.51 multiplier to Social Link points. Maximum Charm also gives a 1.51 multiplier. Exam results add 1.21 for a top-ten result or 1.51 for top of the class.
The top-of-the-class bonus replaces the top-ten bonus. The other listed multipliers stack. These are affinity bonuses, not extra Social Link ranks.
Use the bond in fusion
A higher Social Link rank gives more fusion experience for that Arcana. Reaching rank 10 unlocks its ultimate Persona, but the Persona’s level and recipe requirements still apply.
Male SEES teammates have Linked Episodes rather than being interchangeable with the school Social Links. Check the separate event reference for their windows and rewards.
