Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Pass its buff directly to the carry; low base ATK weakens the shield.

Lan Yan combines an ATK-scaling shield with brief Anemo setup and grouping. Elemental contact can change the shield’s absorption, but party elements alone do not guarantee that conversion.
ATK-scaling Anemo shield / absorption support
Use the Skill and aerial follow-up before switching to the protected attacker; Burst when its grouping is useful.
Shield absorption scales with ATK; elemental interaction can convert its enhanced absorption type.
Absorbed shield element depends on the actual contact interaction, not merely the party element list.
Prepare the desired absorbable element, dash into the target and use the ring follow-up. Transfer to the attacker while the shield persists; use the Burst to gather movable enemies when needed.
EM adds to Skill and Burst damage, but it does not replace ATK for the shield scaling.
ATK buffs can strengthen the shield when it is created.
C2 restores shield absorption from Normal Attack hits.
Burst is usually optional; do not force high ER for shielding alone.

Pass its buff directly to the carry; low base ATK weakens the shield.

A second Skill extends protection and field flexibility.

A partial Scroll buff can support Anemo damage when Viridescent cannot.
Active-character Normal damage can restore shield absorption up to its original limit.
